Personal:
After graduating from college I worked in Iowa City, Iowa, as a patient consultant for a mobile child health specialty clinic serving Iowa’s rural communities. My wife Janis (Hanson) and I moved to La Crosse in 1985 after teaching English for three years at a business college in Nagoya, Japan. Janis is a senior lecturer at UW-L, our son Adam works at the People’s Food Co-Op in La Crosse.
